A blue jay with an acorn in its beak, caught mid-errand on a winter branch. Jays are planters as much as they are eaters, tucking away acorns that grow into trees years down the line.

A double-sided Hinoki wood ornament, ready to hang on the tree, sit on a windowsill, or wrap up for someone who'll know exactly what it means.

Henry F. ★★★★★

Love the weight and feel of the wood — it’s solid but not too heavy to hang. The acorn in the beak is so detailed, almost looks like he’s planning his next planting spot.

Brian I. ★★★★★

The paint job on this little fella is gorgeous—the blues really pop against the wood grain, and the acorn in his beak is carved so cleanly. I hung him by the window where the winter light hits him, and he honestly makes me smile every time I walk past.

Scarlett ★★★★★

The carving is so lifelike I keep expecting that acorn to drop—the way the blue jay's feathers are layered makes it look like it's about to take flight. The double-sided detail means it looks great from any angle on the tree.
