Goudvink houten ornament

I caught the goldfinch mid-peck on the sunflower and it instantly brought me back to my own backyard mornings. The wood grain on the bird's wing feels almost alive, and the gold really does hold its shine without any fuss.

I was torn between this and a few other wood pieces, but the way the goldfinch’s yellow pops against the sunflower’s carved seeds is what sold me.
